Got Questions? I've Got Answers.
What age range is this for?
This course is designed for children aged between 7 and 16 but if your child is older or younger than this, much will still be relevant.
We’ve already tried so much and nothing seems to work. Will this course really help?
If you’re feeling like you’ve tried everything, you’re not alone. Many parents will come to this course feeling exhausted and disheartened.
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution or a list of generic tips. It helps you step back and properly understand what’s driving your child’s difficulties — and then build a plan that’s tailored to their specific needs.
Most importantly, it gives you a clear framework to follow, so you’re no longer guessing, firefighting, or jumping from one idea to the next. Instead, you’ll have a structured, thoughtful approach that brings direction and purpose to what you’re doing.
I’m already feeling overwhelmed — I’m not sure I’ll have time for this.
Most of the videos are under 15 minutes, so you can dip in and out at a pace that works for you. It’s been designed with busy, exhausted parents in mind.
There are four core modules that will be helpful for most families, and then optional deep-dive modules you can choose from depending on what’s most relevant to your child — you don’t need to do everything.
And remember, when creating a plan, it’s usually more effective to focus on a few clear, targeted goals rather than trying to tackle too much at once.
How do I know this course will be relevant to my child?
This course was created with real, complex children in mind. Whether your child is autistic, has ADHD, is awaiting assessment, or has no diagnosis at all — if school feels hard for them, this course will help you understand why and what can be done.
It covers the most common underlying factors linked to school anxiety, based on research and my experience as an educational psychologist.
Most importantly, this isn’t a one-size-fits-all programme. The whole purpose is to help you build a personalised plan that reflects your child’s specific needs, strengths and challenges.
Shouldn’t the school be sorting this out?
Schools absolutely have a responsibility to support your child. But in reality, meaningful change often happens when parents and schools work together with a clear, shared plan.
This course helps you understand what appropriate support should look like, so you can advocate calmly and confidently. It also gives you practical tools to use at home, so your child feels supported in both environments — not just one.
Is this just another parenting course telling me what I’m doing wrong?
No, absolutely not! This is a no-blame space.
You’re already doing your very best in what is often an incredibly tough situation. This course isn’t about judging your parenting. It’s about giving you understanding, structure and practical tools from an experienced educational psychologist who knows how complex and exhausting school anxiety can be.
You deserve support — not criticism.
My child isn’t able to go to school at the moment. Will this course still be relevant?
Yes. Even if your child isn’t attending school right now, it can still be incredibly helpful to understand why school felt so hard. Many of the underlying challenges — such as sensory overload, anxiety, low mood or difficulties with emotional regulation — don’t disappear just because school is paused.
This course will help you gently build your child’s skills, confidence and self-understanding — whether that’s recognising their strengths, understanding their sensory profile, or learning how to manage big feelings. These are life skills that matter wherever your child is learning.
